Exhibition Opening Night

Dates & Times:

Friday, 20th February 2026 @ 6:00pm
Albany Town Hall

A very special launch of the Exhibitions at the Town Hall.

Albany Pride invites you to a special opening night celebrating two extraordinary exhibitions at Albany Town Hall. The 82 Abettors of the Zeewijk, by artist James BL Hollands and lighting designer Luke Simpson, transforms a dark moment in WA’s queer history into a vivid, immersive installation of illuminated “living undead” portraits.

In tandem, A Decade of Pride marks the 10th anniversary of the Albany Pride Festival with a retrospective curated by Hollands featuring festival posters, art, stories, and contributions from local creatives.

Join us for an evening of art, history, reflection, and celebration.

Note: this event is invite only and strictly limited! To be in with a chance of an invite, please sign up to our newsletter.

We have provided accessibility for the venue in general, but these may also be different for the event itself (e.g. making gendered-toilets gender-neutral for the event), so please make sure you check both the venue and event accessibility information below.
