Albany Pride Festival is one of Western Australia’s biggest regional Pride Festivals, bringing together the Queer and Allied community from Albany/Kinjarling and beyond – taking place over the last two weekends of February each year.
The Albany Pride Festival gives the Queer & Ally community of Albany/Kinjarling region a time of celebration and visibility, and for those outside of the region, a perfect excuse for a fun-filled, Queer-themed holiday that will showcase the vibrancy and size of Albany’s LGBTQIA+ community, showcase the beauty and attractions of the region, and hopefully, a reason for them to visit Albany/Kinjarling again in the future (and perhaps, even an incentive to be here a little more permanently!), and as such has become a key event in the region’s tourist calendar.
The Albany Pride Festival also has ongoing, long-term committments and ambitions which you can also read about here!
