Yarn, Learn & Lunch

Dates & Times:

Friday, 27th February 2026 @ 12:30pm
Gavin Ellis Seminar Room

Join us for a working lunch to yarn, learn and engage in conversations about what effective, inclusive practice looks like in real‑world settings.

This session is designed for organisations seeking practical insights into embedding inclusion in ways that strengthen culture, capability and confidence.

Through an open panel conversation, speakers will share perspectives on leading inclusive practice across diverse workplaces, organisations, not-for-profits, and communities.

Palmerston, proudly the first and only alcohol and other drug service provider in Western Australia to achieve Rainbow Tick Accreditation against the Alcohol and Other Drug Human Service Standards, lead the way in fostering safe, welcoming, and effective support for all.

Pride in Diversity, Australia’s national not-for-profit program supporting LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion. Supporting organisations to roadmap a journey to inclusion with the AWEI, developed in 2010, the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) is the leading benchmarking tool for LGBTQ+ inclusion in workplaces across Australia.

Equal Opportunity Commission, plays a key role in supporting fair, inclusive and respectful workplaces and communities across Western Australia. It promotes inclusive practice through education, guidance and training, and administers the Equal Opportunity Act through its complaints process, including matters relating to discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
