Get ready to kick off the Albany Pride Festival with an exclusive, catered launch party on Friday, February 9th! The Albany Entertainment Centre welcomes Albany Pride members, media, and VIPs at 6pm for a complimentary evening of delicious company, delightful edibles and drinks. Local band Soul Train will provide the entertainment, setting the stage for an incredible 2024 Pride festival.  

As a highlight, this year’s launch party will introduce the 2024 Pride Photographic Exhibition, showcasing the impactful collection of cinematic images known as The Pride Project. This compelling art exhibition, co-curated by photographer Lauren Crooke and Wayne Evans, strikes a perfect balance between storytelling and artistry.  

The cinematic images weave a communal narrative, delving into the LGBTQIA+ community’s experiences and sharing often untold stories of adversity. The Pride Project will be a captivating part of the 2024 Pride Photographic Exhibition until March 4th.  

Join us to learn about the festival’s full lineup, mingle with some of our favourite performers, and make sure to dress the part – cocktail dress is the standard attire for this sparkling event.
