Albany Pride Festival is back for 2024, taking place 22nd February to 4th March.
The theme for 2024 is “We are Family” – a celebration and recognition of our strength as a community, the support we can offer each other in the face of opposition and attempts to divide us, an understanding of our Queer history of holding each up and accountable, and the incredible intersectional diversity that exists within our broad, beautiful Queer family.

You’ve attended a bunch of Festival events, you’ve made new friends and you’re just not ready for it all to end! But that’s ok because you know you have a place booked at Albany Pride Festival’s Recovery Brunch, where you can relax with new friends and make your plans for the following year!
Entertaining and thought provoking, queer artists Verity Byth and Annette Carmichael will ask each other hard questions about what their exhibitions are really about, why they do what they do, and how they do it.
parkrun is a free, weekly, community event that happens all around the world – and we’ll be having a special Pride parkrun during our Pride Festival. Join inclusive running, strolling and jogging group the Perth Frontrunners for some exercise with a view.
Australia’s campest drag queen bares all in this chaotic cabaret about her double life as a drag queen accountant. The antics of working for global consulting firms while crossdressing is the epitome of chaos!
On THE PRIESTESS OF MORPHINE, composer Rosśa Crean and librettist Aiden K. Feltkamp create a beautifully haunting portrait of a Gertrud Günther, a young Jewish lesbian caught between her two selves during the Third Reich, who bravely sought her inner truth and passions while forced to live in the shadows.
Albany Pride Fair Day is the heart of the second weekend of our Pride Festival celebrations! Join us in the Albany Town Square for a family-friendly day of celebration with DJ Yanique, our hilarious Dog Show, over 25 market stalls and food vans, and other roving entertainment.
